The name Index Futures Group has been around for decades, it was restructured and reregistered again in 2006
Where are you physically located?
The Home Office is located kitty corner from the CME Group Clearing House in the Chicago Landmark Daily News Building at 2 North Riverside Plaza
How is my account protected or insured?
Segregated funds are subject to stringent daily, monthly, and annual monitoring by industry regulatory agencies. Futures trading accounts, including managed futures, have the advantage of specific industry rules that require the segregation of customer funds from the firm’s own funds. The practice of segregating customer funds protects investors in the event of default at the Futures Clearing Merchant (FCM, the industry term for futures brokerage firms licensed to trade on futures exchanges in the U.S.) holding their account. While FCM bankruptcies are rare, they do occur. The collapse of MF Global is a good example of how the Futures industry stands up for its clients in the event of a catastrophic event. The only clients to get their money back from the collapse so far have been Futures clients.

What type of accounts can I open?
Because you are now dealing with professionals, we can open almost any variation of trading accounts. Individual, Corporate, IRAs Profit Sharing Plans etc.
What is a POA?
Power of Attorney. This extends only the account assigned by the client. It can give a broker or a CTA the ability to properly manage your account without having to get permission for every trade.
What is an LOD?
Letter of Direction. This allows a broker to place orders based on a specific system or signals. It is not the same as a POA.
Do you offer streaming quotes or other tools?
Yes. As a client of Index Futures Group, you have access to the best technology and services that the industry has to offer.
Account Minimum?
No. We do not require a minimum deposit to open an account. But you must meet margin requirements in order to place a trade.
What is the account transfer process like?
Transferring an account is very easy and usually can be finalized in less than a day.
I live out of the country, can I open an international account?
